Sustainable Tipp Milestones

It has been a busy year and a half since SustainableTipp.ie went live. Below we look back on the milestones since 2018;

  1. June 2018 – sustainabletipp.ie went live
  2. August 2018 –
    1. Energy in Agriculture took place at Gurteen College
    2. Energy Transition Survey circulated on social media and at Energy in Agriculture
    3. Vox Pop created at Energy in Agriculture to find out what people know about the Energy Transition
  3. September 2018 – Energy Transition Conference held in Clonmel with 150 attendees
  4. September/October 2018 – Grant Information Evenings held for SMEs and Schools
  5. February 2019 –
    1. Sustainable Tipp was officially launched at Moyne Templetuohy GAA and a grant information event for GAA clubs was held
    2. Transport workshop held in The Horse & Jockey Hotel with EVs on display from local car dealers
  6. June 2019 – Sustainable Energy Week
    1. Information events for homeowners, community groups, SMEs and sports clubs in 3 libraries around the county (Nenagh, Clonmel and Thurles)
    2. Information stands in 4 other libraries (Carrick-on-Suir, Roscrea, Cashel & Templemore)
    3. 5 video stories launched of different projects
    4. Lunchtime energy awareness talks in Clonmel and Nenagh Civic Offices
  7. August 2019 – Energy in Agriculture at Gurteen College
  8. September 2019 – School Energy Awareness Programme begins at Presentation Secondary School, Ballingarry, Thurles4th year students
  9. October 2019 –
    1. Tipperary Healthy Homes Scheme 2020 is launched
    2. Tipperary Housing Report published on sustainabletipp.ie
  10. November 2019 – 100 people attend the NZEB event in Thurles and the NZEB design Competition is launched with a €3000 prize fund.
  11. December 2019 – Tipperary Healthy Homes Clinics in Clonmel and Nenagh
